2012 Horoscope

A Word About Ancient Predictions, Ascension & 2012…

• The reason that December 12th, 2012 is seen by seers & mystics as ‘the end of the world’ is because they could not *mentally project beyond that date. ( *More later, this is an important point! )
• When looking forward through the ages from ancient times, things would appear dark and cataclysmic. Imagine how many wars people like Nostradamus saw through! Imagine how scary new inventions and noisy new technology seemed to their minds!
• The 20th century alone had many wars – World War 1, World War 2, Korea, Vietnam, the Nuclear threat of 1963 and the Cold War, The Gulf War not to mention the others that didn’t make the press. World War 2 alone saw 60,000,000 people perish. This would have seen like the end of mankind to a person who saw a visionary flash / condensed version of these events.
• Becoming hysterical over second hand information is unhealthy. Especially when it replaces peoples instincts and attunement to life.
• The Mayan calendar. Maybe the reason the Mayans did not predict / project any further is because 5,000 years seemed a little ‘far fetched’ to them. It would be like us creating a calendar for the year 7,000…
• … perhaps there was another calendar leading on from that date but has been lost in the course of time. Maybe there is more to the story? It is possible that the extended calendar simply was lost. Have you ever lost your car keys? Imagine what would happen to them over 5,000 years?
• Maybe the reason the Mayans and other mystics could not accurately predict beyond 2012 was because we were living in ‘free space’ and not according to cycles, regular patterns or karmic wheels of change. Maybe it’s hard to map out freedom.
• While many people expect a big bang on December 12th, 2012, there may not be. The shift on that date is supposed to be an evolutionary one. And evolutionary changes take place over time, not overnight.
• Any shift to occur on December 12th would be a gradual one and it’s effects would be felt now. In the space of 5,000 years, we are less than 400 days from that ‘event’. ( 5,000 years = approx. 1,825,000 days and we have about 400 to go. )
• 2012 ( and beyond ) is about embodiment, presence and consciousness-in-the-moment. We are just learning what this means.
• Beyond 2012, there are no more predictions that we have to live by, fear or wonder about. What will it be like to be free?
• Ascension, as “explained” by the flowers-of-the-air, is not a “rising off the planet and going somewhere else” ( going to heaven, to another planet, etc. ) Ascension is the raising of the collective consciousness, the rising of world living standards ( for all ) and the lifting of the human race through teamwork, here on Earth. 
• While there are many other things to say and discuss, the moral is that no matter what you think, believe or predict, the truth is we will live whatever ‘happens’… when it happens. Regardless of ‘what is going to happen’, the same old rules apply… live as best you can and look after others.
